INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE
1 kg Golden Delicious apples
200gr cane sugar
200gr apple cider vinegar
1000gr raisins
1 teaspoon ginger
1 chilli pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
PREPARATION
- Peel the apples, cut them into thin slices and core them. Put them in a heavy bottomed saucepan. Add the sugar, vinegar, washed and drained raisins, the ginger and chilli pepper.
- Cook for about 30/40 minutes until the mixture has a jam-like texture.
- Pour the piping hot chutney in the hot glass jars, close the jars and when cold store them in a dark and cool place.
